3Com launches 2 new Palm handheld connected organizers -- the Palm IIIx™ and the Palm V™

Perhaps the most well-known of 3Com's extensive product line is the Palm handheld connected organizer line.
Since the first Palm Pilot, the Professional, enabled users to carry thousands of names, phone numbers and other data, the Palm handheld connected organizer has really caught on. Because Palm uses a custom operating system, the connected organizers became a great success for Palm, becoming something of a flagship line.
Two new models have recently been released to mark the beginning of 1999; these are the Palm IIIx™ and the Palm V™ connected organizer.
